About the Role

We’re hiring a QA Automation Engineer for a leading global business focused on delivering innovative supply chain solutions. You’ll be part of a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment, helping to build scalable, reliable test automation systems that play a critical role in complex international operations.

This is a permanent, full-time, remote role, ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, enjoys working closely with development teams, and is excited to meaningfully shape automation quality practices across platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Test Automation Development — Design, develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts using agreed-upon tools and collaborate closely with Senior Developers, the Release Manager, and the Head of Technology
  • Testing Strategy and Execution — Build and apply testing processes for both new and existing products to align with evolving business needs
  • Test Planning and Documentation — Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and supporting documentation
  • Defect Reporting and Quality Metrics — Identify, log, and track issues using approved tools; contribute to tracking key QA metrics such as defect density and open defect counts
  • Automation Framework Development — Design, develop, and maintain the automation testing framework with input and approval from QA Automation Engineers, Senior Developers, and technical leadership
  • End-to-End SDLC Collaboration — Engage throughout the full software development lifecycle, ensuring quality is embedded early and consistently across projects

Must-Have Skills
  • Test Automation Experience — Proven experience automating tests for web front-ends, using C# and SQL Server environments
  • Cypress Expertise — Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, processes, and tools, with a minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience with Cypress
  • SQL and Scripting Skills — Solid ability to write complex SQL queries to select, insert, update data, and perform advanced operations like joins
  • API Testing Knowledge — Experience creating and updating API test cases, and working with tools such as Postman and Swagger
  • JavaScript Fundamentals — Strong understanding of JavaScript concepts, including variables, loops, comparisons, and array methods

Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Agile/Scrum Experience — Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development processes and collaborative sprint practices
  • Performance and Security Testing — Exposure to performance testing tools or security testing methodologies
  • White Box and Black Box Testing — Hands-on experience with both white box (internal code structure) and black box (functional) testing approaches

What Sets You Apart
  • Ownership & Reliability — You own what you build, drive it forward, and see it through to delivery
  • Technical Competency — You’re skilled, resourceful, and deliver outcomes without needing hand-holding
  • Curiosity & Drive — You ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and constantly look for ways to improve
  • Self-Sufficiency — You’ve led projects or key initiatives independently and thrive when trusted to run with responsibility
