ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Contract Project Manager to lead the execution of technology-enabled initiatives within the Revenue Cycle domain. This role will focus on managing cross-functional projects involving systems integration, process optimization, data acquisition and management, and operational alignment across platforms.
The Project Manager will own technical workstreams within a larger initiative-developing and maintaining detailed project plans, managing resources and interdependencies, and driving project execution through deployment. The role includes identifying technical requirements, tracking key milestones, managing risks and issue resolution, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
Close collaboration is required across Revenue Cycle, Accounting and Finance, Information Technology, and Operational teams to ensure consistent communication, accurate system integration, and alignment on outcomes. The Project Manager will serve as a bridge between technical teams and business users-translating functional needs into executable plans, facilitating solution design, and overseeing testing, training, deployment and change management.
The ideal candidate brings experience managing system implementations, integrations and/or enhancements in complex healthcare or finance environments, particularly within revenue cycle operations. This individual must be technically astute, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with a demonstrated ability to manage through ambiguity, coordinate across multiple teams, and deliver high-impact results. Exceptional communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills are expected throughout the engagement.
The Details: Remote. Full-time (40 hours/week) contract position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budgets.
* Identify and assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Lead and manage cross-functional teams to execute project tasks effectively.
* Track progress and performance, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
* Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
* Act as the primary point of contact for project-related communications.
* Prepare and present reports on project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
* Manage expectations and address stakeholder concerns.
* Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, tools, and materials.
* Identify potential risks and implement contingency plans to minimize impacts.
* Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
* Conduct post-project evaluations and document lessons learned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field.
* 3-5 years proven experience in managing projects, preferably in a similar industry.
* PMP certification preferred.
SALARY RANGE
* $60 - $80 per hour. Exact pay will be determined based on candidate experience and geographic location
