Flow Production Tracking – Business Process team
Full Stack Engineer (Back-end, Front-end)
Utilizing an Autodesk cloud-based toolset supporting production pipelines in Film, VFX, and Game industries, we envision a future in which the Film, VFX, and Game industries operate more effectively and with greater creative agility. This is an opportunity to utilize your skills as you help us impact the productivity of hundreds of Studios while learning leading edge practices and technologies.
As part of the "Flow Production Tracking" team, you will help improve how major customers like Netflix, ILM (Industrial Light & Magic), Epic, Weta, and Warner Brothers track their productions (VFX, Games, 3D animation, etc.) using our Emmy-winning product, Flow Production Tracking (formerly ShotGrid).
The position is based in EMEA (Poland, Romania, Croatia or Portugal) with a possibility to work Remote or Hybrid.
Responsibilities
- Participate alongside the rest of the "business process" team to the technical design, implementation and delivery of new functionalities in either our new "Generative Scheduling" product or in the scheduling module of the "Flow Production Tracking" product
- Contribute to both the frontend and backend of our tech stack with no discrimination
- Align with cross-functional and remotely located teams involved in the project
- Adopt high engineering standards of excellence, including performance and security
- Keep abreast of technology industry trends, best practices, standards, and methodologies
- Write or modifying unit tests in every code change
- Review pull-requests from peer developers
- Make sure the performance meets the expectation
- Contribute to the quality of our CI/CD
- Resolve customers defects in our products
- Fix reported security issues
- Update our third-party dependencies proactively
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience as a developer with SaaS
- Some experience with a backend language other than JavaScript (Go, Ruby, Python, C#, Java)
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS including frameworks like React, Angular, vue.js
- Experience in Cloud Services Development
- Experience with applying Agile software development methodologies
- Be motivated by establishing strong relationship with clients and forging a trust relationship with them
- Ability to learn quickly and to adapt to frequent change
- Ability to communicate effectively and to collaborate across organizations
- Proficient communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications (bonus)
- Good knowledge of Golang
- Good knowledge with Typescript
- Good knowledge of either SQL or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL and DynamoDB)
- Good knowledge of Ruby
- Good knowledge of infrastructure framework like Terraform
- Development experience in large software applications
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with serverless solutions (e.g. lambda)
- Experience with graphQL API
- Strong skill solving algorithmic problems (e.g. graphs, …)
- Development experience on Mac
