Role Summary:

We are seeking a Designated Managing Broker (DMB) licensed in Illinois to serve as the broker of record and maintain regulatory oversight for our residential portfolio. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned broker looking to stay active with minimal day-to-day involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the broker of record for Best Property Management LLC in Illinois
• Oversee compliance with all IDFPR and Illinois Real Estate License Act requirements
• Supervise leasing activities and ensure all licensed/unlicensed activities are compliant
• Maintain and update office policies and procedures to reflect current laws
• Respond to regulatory or audit requests as needed
• Sign off on brokerage-related documents, including leasing agreements or renewals
• Provide limited support for compliance questions (no daily management duties required)

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Managing Broker License in good standing
• Strong knowledge of Illinois real estate laws and brokerage compliance
• Prior experience as a DMB, Managing Broker, or Brokerage Owner preferred
• High integrity, strong attention to detail, and a professional, discreet approach
• Comfortable serving as broker of record in a low-volume, non-sales-focused environment
• Tech-friendly and open to supporting a modern, remote-enabled company
• Bonus: Experience in property management or working with investor owners
