JOB SUMMARY: As a Data Business Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining reports on Tableau Server, including bug fixes, increasing performance of workbooks, and gathering and implementing feedback on any modifications needed.
DUTIES:
* Manage the efforts to fulfill a client request including but is not limited to:
* Understanding client needs
* Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for data management projects.
* Creating detailed technical documentation including data mappings & process flows.
* Communicating effort, timelines, risk, and client impact
* Facilitating communication between technical and non- technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements.
* Participating in testing and data validation of data management solutions to ensure they meet business needs and technical standards.
* Assisting in project planning, task prioritization to ensure timely delivery of data management initiatives.
* Support performance, quality, and improvement efforts to help streamline processes through data analysis and visualization.
* Evaluate dashboard quality, consistency, usability, and reliability by documenting and applying best practices to design and development
* Communicate with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements and describe data modeling decisions and data visualization strategy
* Utilize SQL, and/or Python in data analytics to collect, understand, transform, cleanse, store, and share data in a privacy-preserving way
* Assist in testing, governance, data quality, training, and documentation efforts
* Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.

REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
* Must have 3 - 5 years' experience as a Data Analyst/Business Analyst. Knowledge of Healthcare industry and healthcare data.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in SQL for data manipulation, extraction, and analysis.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
* Exp with Jira and writing user stories
* A proactive problem solver with a keen attention to detail.
* Familiarity with agile development methodologies and a collaborative mindset. Excellent communication skills to effectively translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Minimum bachelor's degree, or 4 years of related experience. Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable
* Claim process experience is a plus
COMPENSATION
The salary range for this position is 90k-105k. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
