Job Responsibilities
Initiate or handle calls with customers by phone
Help customers improve their financial position by understanding their situation, responding with empathy, and creating solutions
Educate customers on account terms and payment plans
Negotiate and offer solutions for repayment that best suits the consumer and the business
Balance scripted conversation with natural rapport, and provide accurate and detailed documentation of account to ensure proper follow-up
Requirements
Ability to successfully pass criminal background check, along with a drug screen
Authorized to work in the United States
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Proficiency in Windows operating system
Strong typing skills
Customer service experience
Knowledge of financial concepts
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
Prior experience in a call center or similar role
Understanding of medical terminology and billing procedures
