Role Description


We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with a solid background in the non-bank lending sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the self-employed home loan marketand established relationships with mortgage brokers.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the mortgage broker network.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with accredited and prospective brokers.
  • Promote our non-bank lending solutions, particularly tailored for self-employed clients.
  • Provide ongoing training and product support to brokers to drive engagement and volume.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes.
  • Work closely with internal credit and support teams to deliver exceptional service to broker partners.


Requirements

  • Proven experience in a BDM or similar role within a non-bank lender.
  • In-depth knowledge of self-employed lending solutions and alternative documentation (Alt Doc) loans.
  • A strong network and existing relationships within the mortgage broking community.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and strategically to achieve growth targets.
