We're now seeking a
dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst with expertise in Microsoft Power Platform and MS Dynamics to join our team! Whether you're based in Des Moines or prefer working remotely, we offer flexibility, a collaborative culture, and endless opportunities to learn and make a real impact.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze system data and develop reports using Excel, Power BI, and Power Apps.
- Design business models, flowcharts, and process diagrams (Visio, etc.).
- Implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs (e.g., barcode scanning systems, internal app development).
- Build and deploy low-code applications and automated workflows via Microsoft Power Platform.
- Collaborate with IT, Operations, Procurement, and Risk teams to optimize business processes.
- Document business requirements, project plans, and system improvement recommendations.
- Champion the use of Power Platform across the organization.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years as a Business Analyst or similar role (preferably in technology environments).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) and MS Dynamics 365.
- Proficiency in Excel, Visio, and process mapping.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of low-code/no-code app development.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
Skills: - Data Analysis - Strong ability to interpret, organize, and analyze large datasets.
- Microsoft Power Platform - Hands-on experience with:
- Power BI (dashboards, reports)
- Power Apps (low-code app development)
- Power Automate (workflow automation)
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Understanding of CRM and ERP modules, integrations, and customizations.
- Excel Expertise - Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling).
- Process Mapping & Improvement - Experience creating flowcharts, business models, and diagrams using Visio or similar tools.
- Low-Code/No-Code Development - Comfort with building and deploying applications without traditional coding.
- Workflow Automation - Designing and implementing automated processes across departments like IT, Procurement, and Risk Management.
- Technical Documentation - Ability to document requirements, functional specifications, and project roadmaps.
- Problem-Solving - Analytical mindset for identifying process inefficiencies and proposing effective solutions.
- Communication Skills - Strong written and verbal communication to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management - Ability to manage multiple initiatives, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Collaboration - Working effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote or hybrid environment.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Microsoft Certifications - Especially in Power Platform (e.g., PL-900, PL-100, PL-200) or Dynamics 365.
- SQL Querying - Ability to extract and manipulate data directly from databases.
- API Integration Experience - Familiarity with connecting Power Apps or Power Automate to external systems via APIs.
- SharePoint Knowledge - Understanding how to integrate Power Platform apps with SharePoint environments.
- UI/UX Fundamentals - Basic understanding of user experience design for creating intuitive low-code applications.
- Agile/Scrum Methodology - Experience working in Agile project management environments.
- Reporting Tools - Experience with additional BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) a plus.
- Risk Management Systems - Familiarity with risk management workflows and tools.
- Barcode and Scanning Systems - Experience implementing scanning systems into business processes.
- Change Management - Experience supporting end-user adoption during digital transformation initiatives.
