🌟 About the Role

We’re hiring a Team Lead Software Engineering for one of Germany’s most exciting FinTechs. This role is for someone who is already a proven leader – someone who’s led at least 3 developers for 3+ years, is a hands-on Angular expert, and is ready to take full ownership of code, people, and delivery.

You’ll be driving the architecture and implementation of scalable, high-quality software systems while creating an environment where engineers do the best work of their careers.

🛠 Your Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of frontend and backend engineers
• Own and evolve the architecture of modern web applications, with a focus on performance and long-term maintainability
• Enforce best practices, promote clean code, and drive a culture of engineering excellence
• Work closely with the Product Manager to break down complex features into workable stories and deliver real impact
• Identify and resolve technical blockers and interpersonal friction early
• Organize and attend monthly in-person team offsites (e.g. in Berlin or Munich)

👤 Your Profile

• 3+ years of leadership experience in software engineering teams (with 3 or more direct reports)
• 5+ years of hands-on Angular experience – you’ve built and maintained large-scale, production-ready Angular apps
• Solid experience with clean architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative code review
• Docker and Kubernetes experience is a strong plus
• You lead with empathy, give clear feedback, and help your team grow
• Fluent in English (C1); German is a strong plus
