The Role
Skyborn Robotics is looking for a system reliability engineer to join our team and ensure that we’re delivering the highest quality product to our customers. We see two major hurdles to adoption in the robotics industry: cost and ease of use. We develop low-cost robotic systems in-house without sacrificing quality or system reliability.
As a system reliability engineer you’ll work closely with our mechanical, electrical and software teams to ensure reliability. You’ll develop reliability requirements for systems, subsystems, and assemblies. You’ll design and execute test plans for the hardware, software and firmware and generate feedback with visibility to the project leads. We’re hiring for all levels from a recent graduate to an experienced engineer looking to grow and lead the team. Apply and help us continue to deliver our vision of a low-cost, robust robotics platform!
Requirements

Experience with System Reliability analysis methods
Experience with designing and executing hardware test plans
Experience with either C+/+ or Python
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with Linux-based systems
Experience with thermal and industrial reliability requirements
Job specifics
