Our client is seeking a Reliability Engineer with experience working with heavy metal type equipment. Based in a thriving East Texas community, this role will ensure the long-term operational reliability and performance of forging equipment by analyzing failures, implementing preventative maintenance, conducting root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement. Maintain safety standards and optimize production efficiency.
Reliability Improvement: Lead projects to enhance equipment reliability, recommend design modifications, and support upgrades.
Data Analysis: Monitor KPIs (uptime, MTBF), interpret performance data, and identify improvement opportunities.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Apply methodologies like 5 Whys to prevent recurring failures.
Qualifications
BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology (prefer) Will also consider 2 year technical degrees
5-7 years of maintenance experience in steel hammer forging or similar heavy metal equipment.
Strong understanding of forging processes, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in reliability techniques (FMEA, RCM, Weibull analysis).
Data analysis expertise, using statistical tools to enhance equipment effectiveness.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to align cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in CREO (preferred), with experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.Top of Form
