Job Title: Reliability Engineer

Overview:

A leading food ingredients and pet product manufacturer is expanding operations with a $20M facility build-out and is looking for a Reliability Engineer to support new capital equipment integration and long-term operational excellence.

This is a brand-new role, created to support the company's growth trajectory. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with food or CPG manufacturing environments, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead reliability efforts for new and existing capital equipment systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during equipment selection, installation, and commissioning
• Establish and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase equipment efficiency
• Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams to support growth-related production needs

What We’re Looking For:

• 3–10 years of reliability, maintenance, or equipment engineering experience in a manufacturing or food/CPG environment
• Familiarity with CMMS, asset lifecycle planning, and root cause analysis techniques
• Strong technical background in mechanical systems, automation, and/or utilities
• Excellent communicator and collaborator with a passion for efficiency and improvement
• Experience supporting capital projects and facility expansions is a plus
