Release Manager / Technical Engineering Manager

This role will be predominantly focussed on working on delivering technical solutions to DXC customers. The role will involve building and managing Azure DevOps pipelines and deploying Power Platform solutions.

You will be a key member of the DXC New Zealand team, collaborating with developers, testers, functional consultants, and infrastructure teams to streamline releases and ensure the successful delivery of customer solutions.

The role involves managing Azure DevOps pipelines, deploying Power Platform solutions, and automating Azure resources with ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform. The individual will oversee Git repositories, resolve CI/CD and deployment issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline releases.

Experience Required

• Hands-on experience building and managing Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines.
• Experience deploying Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse solutions using PAC CLI & Power Platform Build Tools.
• Experience with ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform for automating Azure resources.
• Experience in Git repositories (Azure Repos, GitHub), branching strategies, and release versioning.
• Ability to identify and resolve CI/CD failures, Power Platform deployment errors, and environment issues.
• Comfortable working with developers, testers, functional consultants, and infrastructure teams to streamline releases.
• Excellent communication, consulting and leadership skills
