We are looking for a commercially driven Regulatory Change Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for proactively identifying, managing and implementing regulatory change to ensure that the business is poised well during the energy transition. This role will lead the regulatory change initiatives and oversee regulatory change management across the business.

As a Regulatory Change Manager with Diamond Energy, you will be responsible for:

• Monitoring and tracking regulatory developments that may impact various business activities across the relevant jurisdictions that the business operates in
• Leading regulatory impact assessments including operational, financial and legal impacts
• Leading regulatory change initiatives through scoping, developing action plans and overseeing the integration of changed regulations into existing systems, processes and business practices
• Collaborating with cross-functional departments to ensure coordinated action in implementing regulatory change
• Developing and delivering awareness and training programs on updated and emerging regulation
• Developing and maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies
• Responsible for providing expert knowledge and strategic guidance on current and emerging regulation
• Actively participating in regulatory forums and working groups
• Ensuring that senior management and key stakeholders are informed about upcoming regulatory changes, impacts and implementation status
• Encouraging participation, collaboration and information sharing across the business
  
  

You will be successful in the role if you possess:

• A minimum of 4-6 years experience in a Regulatory Affairs, Regulatory Change or equivalent role within a highly regulated industry such as Energy and Utilities
• Understanding of regulatory framework of the electricity market
• Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of the evolving energy regulatory landscape
• Demonstrated stakeholder management experience both externally and internally
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely
• Ability to analyse complex regulatory changes, identify potential challenges and opportunities and develop actionable business strategies
• Project management and change management skills and expertise
• Attention to detail and ability to manage tight deadlines and shifting priorities effectively
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Jira
• Ability to follow through on agreed actions with regulators and government bodies within agreed timeframes
