About the Organization: North Coast Rape Crisis Team (NCRCT) is headquartered in Eureka, CA on the state’s northern coast. This 501(c)(3) non-profit organization provides free and confidential intervention and advocacy services to survivors of sexual violence in the Humboldt and Del Norte counties, as well as prevention education to the local community. NCRCT embraces each survivor’s own unique healing path, their choices, and pacing. The agency educates the community about sexual violence and provides a wide range of resources that support awareness and prevention.
NCRCT’s operations are funded by a variety of sources including California’s Victims of Crime Act funding (a.k.a. VOCA grant), foundations, private donors, and community-based fundraising.
About the Opportunity: The agency is seeking a passionate individual to lead the organization’s growth and expand the ability of Del Norte county to serve survivors of sexual violence. Reporting to the Executive Director, and working within the Crescent City, CA location, the Regional Services Manager will oversee regional operations and programming in Del Norte county and lead the location’s team of up to five employees.

Responsibilities: Driven by the mission of NCRCT, the Regional Services Manager will be an enthusiastic, pragmatic, and organized individual who provides dynamic leadership and skillful management. The Regional Services Manager will operationalize the agency’s strategic plans, steward funding, oversee regional operations of NCRCT, and succeed in promoting its growth and community reach.
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
Leadership & Management
3+ years of combined experience, including significant accountability in all of the following areas:
Progressively increasing responsibility and professional management experience in a complex social-services organization, preferably within a non-profit focused on sexual and/or domestic violence, social work, and/or the laws and regulations controlling services and operations under these disciplines
Past management experience in a community-based organization, preferably serving as a department manager or equivalent
Experience working with a non-profit in a role responsible for operationalizing strategic plans
Financial Acumen
Prior fiscal accountability for a broad departmental budget
Experience navigating multiple, complex funding sources to meet budget needs, preferably including state and/or government funds in combination with foundations and private donations
Resource Development, Public Relations, & Advocacy
Skills and past experience articulating an organization’s mission, vision, and values in a compelling way, prior service as a public-representative of an organization
Experience cultivating and maintaining successful relationships, partnerships, and alliances with a wide variety of stakeholders such as institutions, law enforcement, judicial systems, businesses, private donors, community members, and others
Industry Acumen
Experience as a leader within an organization that prioritizes diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace and agency services
Skills and past experience providing effective and comprehensive support to team members providing crisis services to survivors of sexual violence or other similar oppression
Understanding of the various systems of oppressions that shape society and give greater social power to others based on race, gender, sexual orientation, ability, and other aspects of identity
Background and knowledge on the connection between sexual violence and intersecting issues such as LGBTQ+ equality, racial justice, transformative justice, economic justice, sex-work, health and wellness, reproductive rights, and immigrant justice

Compensation: NCRCT offers a competitive salary and benefits package:
Salary range – $63,000 - $88,000
Benefits– 15 paid holidays, generous vacation and sick leave accruals, 403(b) retirement plan, life insurance plan, as well as medical, dental, and vision insurance plans (99% of the medical plan share-of-cost is paid by the agency and 100% is paid for the dental and vision plans)
