The Regional Security Advisor, assigned to one of Pinkerton’s largest global clients, will provide support for site security strategies, standards, policies, and programs across the LATAM region. The Advisor assists with risk/threat assessments, analyzes security threat intelligence, and conducts security vetting while delivering recommendations to preserve local and regional business infrastructures.
Responsibilities
- Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Represent core values identified within Global Security Physical Security Operations in all activities.
- Provide operational support in the evaluation, development, and execution of regional site security strategies.
- Collaborate across security suppliers and teams to achieve overall objectives and ensure cohesive security operations.
- Conduct site visits to ensure the quality of security survey plans, assessments, risk/threat analysis, and training awareness programs.
- Liaise with governmental, consular, and private sector agencies to protect and enhance the client's security program and business accountabilities.
- Provide operational support and advice to ensure service delivery, reporting, and budgetary objectives meet or exceed expectations.
- Assist in the implementation of contingency plans for the immediate resolution of strategic and tactical applications for regional security standards, policies, and procedures.
- Analyze security threat intelligence and support emergency and contingency planning for stakeholders, executives, and employees.
- Conduct security vetting of individuals, teams, and vendors to ensure compliance with the client's policy.
- Actively support cross-functional group processes, programs, and projects.
- Focus on operational security with the possibility of supporting related investigations, as required.
- Deliver operational support for risk/threat assessments and demonstrate a problem-solving approach to preserving business infrastructure at local and regional levels while making recommendations to support strategic aims at a global level.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Master's in security management preferred with at least eight years of corporate security, law enforcement or military experience.
- Fluent written and verbal trilingual language skills; English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
- Self motivated.

- Able to execute tasks with little/no direction.
- Critical thinker with sound analytical and problem solving skills.
