Lidl US is searching for the next Regional Sales Operations Director to join our team! The Regional Sales Operations Director ensures the accurate and timely implementation of the operational concepts in a competitive environment, while taking into account all applicable legal requirements and the principles of cost-efficiency and simplicity. This role is responsible for the coordination of information to the stores and ensuring that tasks are completed in accordance with the Company’s strategic and operational objectives. This includes the standardization and simplification of sales processes, the organization and implementation of international and national projects and concepts at store level.
What You’ll Do
Guide and direct managers and their teams in accordance with company principles and management model
Develop, implement and monitor goals and initiatives aligned to the Company's strategic vision
Evaluate departmental structure, processes and procedures to solve issues and create efficiency
Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements and internal guidelines and standards
Secure all standards and concepts in sales region
Improve and optimize store processes in accordance with the principle of simplicity
Approve all information for communication to District Managers and Stores
Conduct periodic compliance checks with merchandising instructions and Supply Chain directives
Train, manage, and motivate staff in accordance with the Company’s management principles
Performance manage and professionally develop District Managers
Conduct annual planning of all relevant KPIs and targets for the sales region with the District Managers
Continuously analyze and monitor KPIs
Ensure store and team member compliance with all applicable laws and standards, Company principles, management principles and codes of conduct
Implement company guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Understanding of the logistical, supply chain, and sales processes
Highly developed willingness to optimize processes and results-oriented attitude
Knowledge about functionality of KPI’s and how to influence them
Excellent supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to train others
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience
Bachelor’s degree
5-7 years of experience in a related field including three years in a supervisory capacity
In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above
Physical Job Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Travel Requirements
This position commutes between stores, regional offices and/or distribution centers more than 75% of the time within a day
