Summary

Position: Regional Sales Manager

Location: Available to work in any of these Michigan locations

  • Woodhaven, MI (Office Space)
  • Williamston, MI (Office Space)
  • Tecumseh, MI (Office Space)
  • Howell, MI (No Office Space but will need to travel there if needed)
  • South Lyon, MI (No Office Space but will need to travel there if needed)

Duration: Direct Hire

Salary: $100,000-$120,000K

Bonuses/Incentives: 20% total bonus opportunity

  • 10% if individual meets their sales goals
  • 10% if the company grows in revenue
  • Total of 20% opportunity

Hours: Monday-Friday 8-5 (Spring/Summer): Saturday as needed, not tied to these hours, and are willing to be flexible.



Must Haves:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Economics, Agricultural, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience, specifically managing a team of at least 2-3 sales associates
  • Solid understanding of local market conditions specifically in an agricultural industry
  • Excellent Customer service skills and being able to handle difficult situations.
  • Industry or heavy equipment retail sales experience


Plusses:

  • Managing a team of 10 or more sales associates
  • Experience at an agricultural dealership environment
  • Experience with selling tractors or related products to local farmers.
  • Cold Calling experience


Job Description:

Insight Global is looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join one of John Deere’s dealerships in Michigan. This individual will be responsible for selling commercial lawn equipment to local customers and supporting the buyers with any parts or services after the sale. Ideally this person needs to have an agricultural background and experience managing a team of minimum of 2-3 people. This person will be responsible for managing a team of sales associates where she/he will need to provide leadership in motivating, managing, and evaluating 10 sales team members while building relationships with select customers in their assigned territory. The Regional Sales Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing sales plan while maintaining a customer relationship process to achieve lasting brand and store loyalty. They will need to participate in the creation and distribution of new and used equipment programs and manage sales workflow while supporting salesman as needed.
