Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead our polycrete and fiberglass vault sales efforts. This is a high-impact, outside sales position responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our market share in the construction, utility, and infrastructure sectors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to cultivate relationships with key decision-makers. Extensive travel, customer visits, and entertainment will be critical aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement a comprehensive regional sales strategy to drive business growth for polycrete and fiberglass vaults.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities across various sectors, including utilities, construction, telecom, and infrastructure.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, engineers, contractors, distributors, and decision-makers.
Conduct regular customer visits, attend meetings, and organize site tours to demonstrate product benefits and secure sales.
Entertain clients as needed to build rapport and foster long-term partnerships.
Market Expansion & Territory Management:
Manage and oversee sales activities across the central and eastern U.S., ensuring consistent messaging, support, and engagement.
Stay updated on market trends, competition, and industry standards to adapt sales approaches.
Collaborate with marketing, product development, and engineering teams to ensure the sales strategy aligns with company goals.
Travel & Client Engagement:
Travel extensively in the region to meet with clients, attend industry conferences, and engage in networking opportunities.
Organize client entertainment events (dinners, events, etc.) to solidify relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Reporting & Forecasting:
Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts.
Track and analyze sales metrics to optimize performance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
A high school degree is required. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the construction, utility, or infrastructure industries, focusing on products such as polycrete vaults, concrete precast solutions, or related materials, is preferred.
Proven track record of managing sales efforts and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
A strong network within the construction, telecommunication, and utility industries would be helpful.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50 to 75%).
