The role of Regional Sales Manager will be part of the International Business team (America) within the Global Commercial Organization. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the sales function for the region and provide support to the leadership team and stakeholders in continuous development, working with operational activities related to the demand analysis for Motorcycles and Non- Motorcycle verticals (Apparel, GMA), ensure guarantee of minimum stock (availability at distributors), competitiveness analysis of products, allocation control and support to new distributor development, including Action Plans and legal notifications if required.


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the achievement of the goals for wholesales and retail, profitability and growth of the region for motorcycle and non motorcycle business
  • Provide data for all reports as needed including the Sales Funnel metrics
  • Management and generation of leads
  • Motorcycles demand analysis, forecast, stock and orders control
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure effective implementation of marketing plans for the region
  • Sales Incentives proposition including cooperated marketing and sales activations
  • Ensure proper credit limit (floorplan) for a healthy operations
  • Establish a healthy and long term relationship with our distributor partners
  • Continuous improvement of customer satisfaction
  • Notification of the deviations of the distributors according to the rules and procedures established by the agreement
  • Business consulting and negotiation of the action plans for the region
  • Continuous capability development by developing, leading and motivating sales teams with training (brand history, sales and product knowledge) and results seeking, systematically on a continuous basis


Experience/ Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Full Time) - Sales, Marketing or related streams
  • Masters in Business Administration (MBA) - Marketing / Advertising / Communications
  • 6+ years experience
  • Prior experience of running regional sales areas in the automotive industry - motorcycle
  • Good understanding of our target audiences and the insightful triggers & barriers that govern their usage/purchase behaviour
