The Quality/Environmental Management Representative is responsible for maintaining ISO certifications. The incumbent of this position holds both responsibilities and works with all departments in the business unit.
Main Responsibilities
Administrator of the document control system -Master Control.
Ensure personnel have knowledge required to use the system effectively.
Send all documents needing publishing for approval.
Administration of ISO 9001/14001: ensure the system is established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the standard and reports to top management on performance, including recommendations for improvement.
Ensure compliance during both external and internal audits.
Ensure corrective actions from audits are completed by responsible personnel in a timely manner.
Help drive the importance of ISO 9001/14001 out to the plant employees.
Constant review our system to ensure it reflects our current practice.
Minimum Experience And Education Requirements
EDUCATION
University Degree (B.S. in Systems Engineering preferred)
Experience
2-5 years of experience in a B2B logistics coordinator related role.
Experience using ERP systems, MS Word, Excel and Outlook - Microsoft Axapta (AX) is a plus.
Manufacturing experience required.
Root cause analysis (CAPA, 8D, FMEA, 5 WHY’S) skills are required.
Proven experience in cross-functional environments.
LANGUAGES
Bilingual, Spanish preferred
Skills And Competences
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel required.
Interest in process understanding, improvement and analysis.
Must have strong written and verbal skills; be well organized and capable of handling multiple assignments and possess attention to detail
Must be intellectually curious and have the ability to learn quickly
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex legal and financial documents
Ability to be able to communicate clearly and effectively to all employees, customers, and vendors
Ability to be able to make effective persuasive presentations
