Summary

Position: Regional Property Manager

Territory: Chicago/Milwaukee

Compensation: Base: $80K-$110K + Bonus + Vehicle Allowance

Position Overview

The Regional Property Manager will oversee a portfolio of Tax Credit/HUD properties, ensuring operational efficiency, high occupancy rates, and adherence to all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will lead a team of property managers, fostering a positive environment while optimizing the performance of the properties under their management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of multiple properties within the region.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve property performance goals and maximize occupancy rates.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8.
  • Train, mentor, and manage property managers to enhance team performance and encourage professional development.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and audits to ensure high standards of maintenance and tenant satisfaction.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and forecasts for each property.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and local authorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in property management, with at least 2 years in a regional or multi-site role.
  • Strong knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 programs and regulations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
