Reporting to the Director of Maintenance and Engineering, the Regional Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing technical projects, investment and maintenance contracts in the hotels of his/her region. Furthermore, supporting the maintenance team and Operations on a technical level and creating action plans to optimize and expand an efficient hotel operation. The position will be located in Hoofddorp, the regional head office of Business Unit Northern Europe. What do we offer? Responsible for plan and implementation of maintenance, fire protection, and energy optimization action plans Concept, planning, commissioning, and monitoring of construction, renovation, and new installation projects Monitoring and controlling of performance of external service providers and subcontractors. Creation and management of a multi annual budget plan of investment for each hotel under supervision following they technical needs Responsible for the project management and execution of the investment plan for those hotels within the region. Including launching tender processes, negotiation with external companies, project planning and invoicing control Technical support and advice to hotel’s operation management and maintenance team for a successful integration in standard engineering and maintenance processes Technical input and support in communication with higher management and property owners Leading and fostering energy saving projects and procedures in line with the CO2 emission reduction target of the company What are we looking for? Your qualifications and skills A resident of The Netherlands A technical profile At least 4 years of experience in a similar role A Bacherlor or Master’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, etc) or equivalent Good knowledge of building facilities design and maintenance procedures as well as regulations applicable to these systems Good spoken and written knowledge of local language and English Reliable MS Office knowledge and computer skills Driver’s license Resilience and willingness to travel nationwide and internationally Focus on service, quality and cost awareness Excellent management and organizational skills Independent and goal oriented Good communication skills and capacity of representation.
