Summary/Objective

The Alabama & Florida Regional Manager will oversee all funeral homes, cemeteries, and crematories in the states of Alabama & Florida including business operations, growth strategy, overall training needs, forecasting, market management, and people development to deliver service above and beyond client and company expectations.

The Alabama & Florida Regional Manager role must be performed consistent with the Company mission and values and in adherence to Company policies and procedures.

Essential Functions And Competencies

• Grow/Maintain Market Share : Responsible for building and maintaining both pre-need and at-need revenue at the location by increasing call volume and averages, cultivating strong customer and community relationships, and growing market share.
• Expense Management/Administration: Effectively manage all expenses in accordance with the location budget. Ensure all administrative functions are completed in an accurate manner as outlined in the Company policies/procedures.
• Operations: Demonstrate extensive operations and industry knowledge in the execution of all aspects of the location operations and ultimately focusing on servicing the customer.
• Compliance/Health & Safety: Ensure that all company policies and procedures and applicable laws are communicated, enforced, and adhered to.
• Staff Management and Leadership: Ensure individuals and teams get the coaching and support necessary for them to be successful in their jobs. Develop and maintain cooperation and teamwork. Provide direction and motivation to individuals and teams to achieve goals and objectives. Set a good example of desired behaviors.
  
  

Required Education And Experience

• Alabama & Florida Funeral Director Licenses
• A degree in business management or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years as Manager of multiple funeral homes and cemeteries
• Ability to relocate to Birmingham Alabama or Orlando Florida area - Relocation assistance will be provided.
