The position

As Regional Legal Director, you are the legal conscience of Concentrix in the Netherlands. You will provide strategic and operational advice to the board, the management team and various internal departments on legal issues with a focus on contract negotiations. In addition, you will be involved in providing local legal advice, data protection and corporate compliance. You will play a central role in supervising customer contracts, advising on data privacy and supervising legal issues within the region.

You will work closely with a team of lawyers, whom you will coordinate and manage. In addition, you solve legal escalations and provide the business with strategic legal advice. What will you do?

• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and managing contracts for the Dutch region of Concentrix, including the complete lifecycle management of contracts, such as updates, amendments, renewals and terminations.
• Provide legal advice on a wide range of topics, from employment law to privacy laws (GDPR) and other local privacy and security requirements, in collaboration with the Data Protection Office.
• Supervising legal proceedings and resolving disputes in the Netherlands.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to effectively manage legal issues and provide both commercial and general legal support to other Concentrix offices across Europe.
• Performing compliance checks and risk assessments, ensuring that Concentrix always complies with laws and regulations in the Netherlands and the region, including compliance with privacy laws and local requirements.
• Coordinating and manage a team of (local) lawyers in the region, with the aim of optimizing legal processes and resolving escalations.
  
  

Minimal icing:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive legal professional with a strong sense of responsibility, strategic insight and excellent communication skills. You recognize yourself in the following profile:

• Completed master's degree in Dutch law (LL.M) or an equivalent degree from a recognized law faculty.
• Preferably additional specialization in business law or a postgraduate degree.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in commercial and contractual law, including negotiating international contracts.
• In-depth knowledge of data protection and privacy laws (including GDPR and the EU regulatory framework).
• Experience in managing legal teams or managing a legal department.
• Familiarity with international laws and regulations in the field of business operations.
• Experience within a law firm in the field of corporate and/or commercial law is an advantage.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing; Able to draft, review, and negotiate legal documents in both languages.
• Mastery of an additional language such as French or German is a plus.
• Creative thinker with the ability to provide innovative, yet compliant solutions within legal frameworks.
• Stress-resistant, flexible and able to work effectively under pressure and with changing priorities.
