What’s the role?
As a Regional General Manager (RGM) at Westpac, you will have the opportunity to help shape the future of Banking in communities across Melbourne West. A passionate leader, you will inspire our Westpac Consumer Banking team – developing career bankers and banking leaders – and drive our mission to be the world’s best place to work.
This is a high-profile, multi-site Leader of Leaders role that will afford you the opportunity to influence State-level strategy for Consumer Banking. You will harness data, insights and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities, increase market share and boost profitability whilst delivering exceptional customer experiences through innovation, digitalisation and operational efficiency.
You will live and breathe Westpac’s ambition to be our customer’s #1 bank for life and will act as our key ambassador in the region – cultivating strong professional relationships in the communities your bankers serve. You will attend and participate in high-profile community and corporate events, helping to strengthen our brand presence and community impact.

What do I need?
- Charisma, ambition, drive
- Leadership experience gained in a customer-obsessed environment within Banking / Financial services
- A solid background in sales management and coaching to uplift capability
- The will to travel extensively across your designated region of Melbourne West
- A proven track record of fostering a positive, people-first culture with an uncompromising ability to drive multi-site performance
- An ability to lead from the front through periods of instability, transformation and change
