Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Regional Finance Director to lead our financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and finance operations within our global retail organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of progressive experience in finance, specifically within the retail sector. This role will involve strategic financial leadership, driving profitability, and ensuring operational excellence across our global markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee the FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and variance analysis to support decision-making.
• Operations Management: Lead finance operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and accuracy in financial processes and reporting.
• Reporting: Prepare accurate financial reports for senior management and stakeholders, providing insights on performance and opportunities for improvement.
• Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Team Development: Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as marketing, supply chain, and operations to drive financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in finance roles, with a strong background in FP&A and finance operations within a multinational retail/FMCG company.
• Qualified Accountant (HKICPA, ACCA, CPAA) with solid accounting knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills with strong commercial acumen.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to support decision making and drive the financial performance of the business.
• Proficient in financial modelling and advanced Excel capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
• Good command of English and Chinese.
