Reporting directly to the Managing Director UK and functionally to the Group Operations Director, the Regional Director Production will be responsible for the company’s end-to-end production capability and its flawless execution. This role encompasses all the relevant production functions. The RDP will identify, assess and further develop Encore UK’s capabilities and develop and ‘package’ a consistent set of production offerings that represents the depth and breadth of Encore UK’s capabilities.
The Regional Director Production must also be an Encore UK ambassador in the marketplace and seek out new opportunities for the company’s services – both current and future. The RDP must be a visible and passionate advocate for Encore (e.g., leadership positions in user groups, conferences, industry trade groups as well as internally across the International), credible in articulating Encore’s unique value proposition internally and to prospective clients where appropriate, and able to articulate Encore’s vision with confidence.
The Production Director must take an active role in Encore’s commercial success working directly with the Sales & GSO team to attract new production accounts and maximise existing ones. The RDP will have full P&L accountability for Encore UK’s Production Business

Highlight, balance and mitigate areas of risk; integrating safety and risk management into the production process.
Monitor and report on performance against objectives and KPIs.
Ensure that the production department allocates resources effectively with rigorous pressure on costs and a commitment to value creation and labour sharing across your regions.
Identify ways to strategically improve production performance to achieve regional targets.
Partner with the commercial team to grow new and existing production accounts
Be customer facing to build and maintain production relationships with appropriate key customers & partners to ensure customer service, satisfaction and retention.
Provide direct leadership and guidance to the production team
Drive continuous improvement and optimisation of all processes through clear direction and effective leadership
Drive an accountability culture ensuring teams are aligned with company objectives.
Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.
Prepare the company for growth by leading the creation and implementation of team member development processes and succession planning.

Ability to work in a matrix structure with the rest of the International leadership to deliver best in class business outcomes
Proven leadership success in developing talent and market strategies
Experience of successfully managing demanding corporate initiatives.
Strong financial acumen
Experience with sales planning, forecasting and CRM
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
Proven experience of delivering against an operations plan and to agreed targets

Customer driven operational leader with a demonstrated track record of success in senior production-oriented roles in B2B or B2C (with high customer engagement) environments

Extensive experience of production, in end-to-end production management, and managing a portfolio of productions (i.e., concurrent productions)
Experience leading people, large teams and resources around complex schedules, budgets and across broad geographies; experience leading and managing remotely
Advanced influencing and negotiating skills, particularly with suppliers and resources
Excellent business and financial skills; able to develop and manage budgets
Understanding of existing / potential / emerging production technologies, systems, and tools
Experience leading change across a broad production base
