Purpose of the Role:


Leading the demand forecasting and supply planning processes across the ZP Commercialization markets to ensure accurate demand signals are generated and that supply plans are aligned for an optimize inventory stocking levels, and to meet business (internal and external) objectives.


Expectations of the Role:


Demand Analysis and Forecasting

  • Review market forecast and lead the regional demand planning process.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate 24-36 month rolling forecast to submit to Supplier
  • Drive the regional Sales and Operations (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment across functions.
  • Execute demand flow verification processes, engage in short- and long-term planning and conduct inventory analyses
  • Conduct monthly capacity and performance analyses to ensure that forecasts and schedules are aligned and integrated


Supply Planning & Inventory Control

  • Based on the demand forecast, work with Suppliers to ensure sufficient, timely supply.
  • Optimize supply chain planning to balance inventory, service levels, and working capital in the market
  • For new product launches, work closely with both regional and commercialization teams in the country to monitor supply planning from initiation to delivery to country
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks by proactively addressing potential disruptions.
  • Manage inventory to support product lifecycle, including new launches, phase-outs, and transitions.


Communication

  • Represent ZP Commercialization team at Supply meeting with Clients.
  • Strong communication with Clients to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Ensure effective lines of communication between counterparts in Logistics, Regional teams (Regulatory / QA, Marketing, and Finance), Commercialization teams in the country, Client’s Supply Chain team as well as SSG production and procurement personnel.
  • Communicate disruptions to appropriate persons in the organization, develop multiple scenarios, articulate key decisions and recommendation to regional commercialization Leadership team highlighting service, inventory and cost tradeoffs


Process and Team Management

  • Monitor and analyze demand and supply performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintains documentation and standard operating procedures for demand/supply planning processes and systems and ensure that these are being followed by the related parties
  • Identify and manage risk within the supply chain
  • Lead, coach and develop team members and local market supply chain counterpart.
  • Manage contractor and subcontractor activities


Attributes Required:


Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in Supply Planning, with at least 3 years in a regional or multi-country role.
  • Proficient in demand planning and ERP system

  • Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail oriented, able to work with excel templates for rolling forecast submission.
  • Ability to work independently, effectively multi-task and tasks prioritization
  • Ability to work in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
  • Creative and good problem-solving skill.
