Morgan McKinley is partnering with a client to hire an experienced and highly driven Business Development Manager to oversee its commercial operations across Southeast Asia and developing markets.

This is a pivotal role for a commercially driven individual who excels in cross-market leadership and has a proven track record of delivering sustainable growth through channel partnerships and market development strategies. The successful candidate will serve as a key regional lead, managing distributor relationships, optimizing go-to-market execution, and working cross-functionally to drive performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of business expansion efforts across Southeast Asia and frontier markets
• Lead distributor engagement, performance tracking, and market penetration strategies
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders across sales, marketing, and supply chain functions
• Oversee market planning, forecasting, and budget management
• Deliver business insights and performance reviews to senior leadership
• Provide direction for long-term regional development plans

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in FMCG commercial roles
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-market sales operations and distributor networks
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable operating in a multicultural, fast-paced, and matrixed environment
• Proficiency in business reporting tools such as Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
