Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Regional Business Development Manager to lead the market launch and commercial growth of an innovative, sustainability-focused pet food brand across Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman. This is a high-impact position that combines market entry strategy, B2B sales, partner onboarding, and regulatory coordination.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Develop and implement tailored go-to-market strategies for each assigned country.
  • Identify and secure distribution partners, vet clinics, grooming chains, and retail clients.
  • Lead B2B sales efforts and meet defined revenue and partnership targets.
  • Manage onboarding and long-term collaboration with wholesale partners.

Regulatory & Import Operations

  • Oversee product registration processes with relevant veterinary and food authorities.
  • Collaborate with local consultants, logistics providers, and customs agents.
  • Support the operations team with documentation, warehousing, and restocking logistics.

Partner Support & Brand Activation

  • Deliver product training, brand assets, and sales tools to partner staff.
  • Coordinate product launch visibility, in-store promotions, and B2B campaigns.
  • Monitor partner performance and support growth initiatives.

Market Analysis & Reporting

  • Track industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities.
  • Deliver periodic market performance reports and propose localized improvements to product, pricing, or packaging.


Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development or B2B sales in pet food, FMCG, veterinary, or related sectors.
  • Proven experience operating in at least one of the focus markets (Qatar, Bahrain, Oman).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Veterinary Science, or a related discipline.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Strong skills in negotiation, project management, and cross-cultural communication.
