Summary

POSITION DESCRIPTION

  • To build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.
  • Identify market opportunities, recommend business partnerships, and assist in the development of the overall strategy and business plan.
  • To manage the sales development of assigned accounts directly and through channel partners.
  • Recommend and assist in the promotion, organization and guidance of sales practices in an efficient manner, providing for maximum market penetration of NS product offering.


Essential Functions:

  • Identify targets, opportunities, trends and seek approval to pursue from Sales Director and Managing Director
  • Develop end user base, brand approval, consultant engagement
  • Recommends business relationships and executes partnerships based on the overall business unit strategy.
  • Coordinates new product introductions with product management, marketing, and sales functions and assesses the market's product requirements.
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Coordinates with business unit functional management to ensure consistency in plans.
  • Identify and act on both short and long-term revenue opportunities
  • Provides guidance to personnel who are responsible for product development and may also serve as primary contact for business alliances.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and provide recommendations to management on the performance and effectiveness of business development efforts.
  • Create demand for products by identifying potential opportunities, meeting with consultants and IT Managers as required, applying the strategic selling process, and utilizing the appropriate resources to convert opportunities into wins.
  • Organize and coordinate the NS sales of products by administering and communicating policies, procedures, and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to establish and grow the brand with strategic business partners within assigned region(s).
  • Meet consistently with distributors, contractors, installers, consultants, and customers to communicate updates on products, product lines, and production capabilities for the purposes of educating and influencing their purchasing decisions of products.
  • Coordinate sales activities and communicate special customer product requirements with departments including marketing, manufacturing, engineering and materials.


Territories Responsibility:

  • Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan


Education, Knowledge, Skills, Training, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Communications Engineering.
  • MBA is a plus
  • A minimum of 5-9 years’ experience in business development and sales
