Summary

Our client is a leading global distributor of electrical and electronic aircraft parts, with a strong presence across Europe, North America, and Asia. The company delivers tailored supply chain solutions to major airlines, MROs (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul), and OEMs. Its mission is to streamline the procurement and management of aircraft parts to make aviation support more efficient and cost-effective.

They are adding 2 new Business Development Manager headcounts to identify and develop new business opportunities, expanding the customer base, and driving revenue growth across either North Asia or Southeast Asia Oceania markets in the aviation sector. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and proactive relationship builder who understands the dynamics of the aerospace supply chain.

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the aviation and aerospace sectors
  • Establish and grow strong relationships with airlines, MROs, OEMs, and other key stakeholders
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, purchasing, logistics, customer service) to deliver effective, customized solutions
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and provide regular reporting and forecasting to management
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote company capabilities and services
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Aviation Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or key account management within the aviation or aerospace industry
  • In-depth understanding of aircraft parts distribution, new built kitting and MRO operations
  • Proven ability to build and manage long-term customer relationships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities
  • Experience with Infor Syteline, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 30–50%)
