Overview:

Manage the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full life-cycle recruiting. Oversee outsourced contractors, agencies, and other recruiting services to establish key performance indicators and ensure regular adherence to those targets. Analyze recruiting systems, workflows, and processes: identify opportunities and needs, and address them creatively and systematically for efficiency and effectiveness. Establish and maintain relevant baseline performance metrics and report on them to key stakeholders. Support the development and delivery of training to enhance the hiring skills of Ecore management. Work with appropriate management to anticipate and identify future talent needs. Oversee the smooth operation of recruiting support roles – scheduling, pre-hire work, and other general administrative requirements leading up to hire. Interact regularly with HR Business Partners to ensure open channels on the current state and be adaptable to changing circumstances in an environment of high change and growth.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee outsourced contractors, agencies, and other recruiting services to establish key performance indicators and ensure regular adherence to those targets
  • Analyze recruiting systems, workflows, and processes: identify opportunities and needs, and address them creatively and systematically for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Oversee and/or actively participate in the filling of all assigned Hourly and Salary positions
  • Manage the medium and location for advertising and support hiring brand initiatives
  • Oversee administrative needs to include pre-screening, coordination of or participation in the interview process, reference checks, offer negotiation and administration, and background check/drug screen/physical and lift test processing
  • Work with management to plan staffing and drive efficiencies in the full cycle recruiting to ensure the highest quality candidates, while growing candidate pools, reducing fill times, and reducing average cost to hire
  • Coordinate stakeholders and oversee recruiting responsibilities as they relate to transitioning candidates to employees through the new hire orientation processes, onboarding, and On-the-Job Training of new associates
  • Provide direction to managers and supervisors in resolving staffing needs; determine appropriate problem resolution activities and escalate when necessary
  • Provide ongoing training to hiring managers regarding recruitment processes within legal and organizational policies and comply with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) programs, policies, and procedures. Support the development and delivery of continuous training to enhance the hiring skills of Ecore management.
  • Establish and maintain relevant baseline performance metrics and report on them to key stakeholders
  • Oversee the tracking of 90-day/6-month evaluations for new hires
  • Support organizational engagement goals to increase company retention


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent years of experience
  • 10+ years of previous recruiting experience to include Non-exempt & Exempt level positions and extensive knowledge in full life-cycle recruiting components, such as sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, relationship management, and due diligence
  • 3+ years of experience managing outsourced recruiting agencies, contractors, and/or vendors
  • The ideal candidate would possess an understanding of the local recruiting market with connections to local sources
  • Successful experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are required
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity
  • A variety of computer knowledge and experience to include Microsoft applications, various job boards, search engines, internet savvy, along with HRIS and ATS software
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public
