Summary

Purpose


The Recruiter is responsible for supporting the recruitment process by profiling candidates, coordinating induction schedules, updating client databases, and ensuring seamless communication between candidates, consultants, and clients. This role is key in sourcing and screening blue-collar candidates, particularly in the mining and transport sectors, for roles such as truck drivers, MC drivers, production operators, and mechanical maintenance personnel..


Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Profiles candidates from job ads into the client’s database for job matching, with a focus on blue-collar and mining roles.
  • Coordinates with Consultants regarding scheduled inductions for candidates in heavy industry, transport, and maintenance roles.
  • Updates clients on confirmed candidates and those who did not attend induction.
  • Reach out to candidates who are unable to attend their scheduled inductions and reschedule them as soon as possible.
  • Ensures that the recruitment database is always up to date with accurate candidate information.
  • Completes candidates' profiles in preparation for the consultant's induction.
  • Completes all assigned tasks and email communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Screens candidates for job suitability, particularly in truck driving, mechanical maintenance, and production operations.
  • Manages virtual reception duties for offices as required.
  • Liaises with Branch Consultants in a professional and timely manner.
  • Actively searches and Facebook hunts for potential candidates who meet blue-collar job order requirements.
  • Contributes to the team’s recruitment efforts by completing additional tasks as requested.

    • Proficiency in using recruitment systems and databases.
    • Familiarity with sourcing candidates for roles in transport, mining, and mechanical trades is an advantage.
