Your role as a Recovery Support Specialist RSS
As a Recovery Support Specialist at HopeLink Behavioral Health, you will be a key player in transforming lives through our Psychosocial Day Programs, including Recovery Academy, Stepping Stones, and CRSP. This exciting role involves reaching out to clients-both active and inactive-providing them with essential support and information on their recovery journey. You'll facilitate at least three skill-teaching groups each day, sharing your knowledge to empower clients and help them enhance their recovery skills. Your responsibilities also include documenting outreach contacts promptly, conducting comprehensive orientations for new clients, and collaborating with clinical staff to ensure optimal care.
With a focus on communication and flexibility, you will represent our team in community work groups to enhance our services. Each day will bring new challenges and opportunities to make a lasting impact in the Behavioral Health field!

* Tuesday - 11:15 am - 4:15 pm
* Wednesday - 11:00 am - 4:15 pm
* Thursday - 9:15 am - 2:15 pm
* Friday - 9:00 am - 1:45 pm

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
* High School Diploma or GED
* Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS) Certification (preferred)
* Adaptability to changes in environment, and situations
* Strong and effective communication skills and accepts criticism and feedback
* Dependability by following instructions, responds to management direction and keeps commitments
* Meets attendance punctuality guidelines
* Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming and building interpersonal relationships
* Contributes to building a positive team spirit and exhibits objectivity and openness to other's view
