The Inventory & Cost Accounting Analyst reports directly to the Inventory Team Lead. The
primary function is to be responsible for a wide range of inventory and cost accounting tasks,
including inventory and cost accounting analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.
- Perform Inventory to General Ledger interfaces, monitor and validate complete interface
- Execute month end close jobs
- Update costs in the ERP
- Assist Operations and warehouse managers on matters involving inventory transactions
- Assist Operations Control and Reporting team with inventory variance analysis
- Prepare journal entries for month end close
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation
- Coordinate physical inventory count and assist in physical vs book reconciliation
- Summarize and review physical inventory results from various warehouses/depots for
audit and monthly recording purposes
- Prepare monthly percentage of completion revenue recognition
- Perform / Review cost variance analysis per BL /SBL /Product /etc. considering also
variations in Sales, Inventories, etc.
- Complete projects as assigned

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
Experience/Certifications
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience
- Relevant experience in Cost & Inventory accounting and/or Manufacturing industry,
Preferred
- Certified accountant, or working towards designation a plus
- Experienced with Oracle R12 Inventory/Cost Management systems, preferred
- Oracle experience highly desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact effectively with all
levels of the organization
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
- Results oriented, self-starter with the ability to manage conflicting priorities under tight
deadlines
- Experience in shared service center preferred
- Experience in multinational company desirable
Knowledge And Skills
- Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Solid understanding of financial analysis
- Advanced skills in Google Sheets
- Ability to work and take initiative in a matrix organization
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Digital mindset for systems automation and connectivity
- Continuous improvement mindset for process improvements
Language Requirements
English: Advanced proficiency required [B2/C1]
