Summary

Massimo Bonini is looking for a polished, proactive, and organized Receptionist & Office Manager to join our NYC team, at our new headquarters.

This dual-role position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, and takes pride in creating a welcoming and impeccably run workplace.

The Receptionist will play a key role in being the first point of contact for the company, greeting every individual with friendliness, authenticity, and a consistently high standard of customer service.

This position requires excellent phone etiquette, accurate handling and logging of incoming/outgoing packages, management of shipments, occasional coat check responsibilities, and general clerical support. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to discretion and confidentiality are essential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for the company—creating a polished, welcoming, and well-organized environment for clients, guests, and team members
  • Greet and assist all visitors with warmth and professionalism; notify team members of arrivals
  • Handle all incoming phone calls, and direct inquiries to appropriate departments with efficiency and discretion
  • Keep an organized calendar for all meetings and appointments, during and outside the sales campaign period
  • Occasionally assist wholesale team with appointment coordination, sending of invites, etc.
  • Oversee daily office activities, including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping
  • Maintain a tidy, presentable reception area fully stocked with necessary supplies and materials
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages on behalf of the company, keeping track of all activities
  • Order and monitor office and general kitchen supply inventory; process supply requests from team members
  • Enforce office security by managing guest access and following safety protocols.
  • Support the planning and execution of internal events and meetings, including market setup, catering, and logistics
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties such as printing, filing, and scanning.
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs to ensure showroom and office standards are upheld; report and resolve any facility issues
  • Support team with various tasks (eventual local cobbler drop-off & pickups,
  • Assist with various administrative projects as needed
  • Collaborate with building security and cleaning teams to maintain an elevated showroom experience


The Perfect Candidate

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; fashion, luxury, or hospitality background preferred
  • Confident, enthusiastic, and able to represent Massimo Bonini and its brands with professionalism
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with phone and scheduling systems
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable with strong multitasking skills
  • Positive, proactive, and calm under pressure; solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and a polished, professional demeanor
  • Discreet and trustworthy in handling confidential information
  • Team player with the ability to work independently when needed
  • Flexible and adaptable to showroom scheduling needs
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
