Receives families and visitors at the front desk by welcoming, announcing them courteously and appropriately. Answers, screens, and routes incoming phone calls plus other general office support duties.
Job Responsibilities
Answers routine questions associated with services, location directions, etc.
Screens and routes incoming calls to appropriate staff members
Maintains a comfortable environment for clients in our guest-waiting area
Receives incoming mail and packages
Maintains organized and current electronic and paper files and records
Typing, document creation, proofreading, data entry and printing
Adheres to FOIP regulations
Minimum Requirements
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
Six months general office, receptionist, or administrative support experience preferred
Proficient at operating computers, telephones, eFax and copier
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
A warm, inviting and calm demeanor
Strong attention to detail required
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
Ability and willingness to learn software such as Adobe and In Design
Clear and professional speaking voice and tone
Professional interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
Ability to work schedule including weekends and beyond standard business hours
Ability to work in a busy and interruptive environment, independently and as a team.
