Role Overview

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for efficiently managing all incoming deliveries, ensuring proper storage, and maintaining accurate records. This role involves receiving, storing, and cataloging packages for guests and employees, organizing storage areas, handling kitchen inventory—including perishable items—and adhering to safety protocols of food handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and Inspect Deliveries: Receive all incoming packages and deliveries, verifying contents against purchase orders to ensure accuracy in specifications, quality, quantity, and pricing.
• Catalog and Distribute Packages: Log all received packages, ensuring timely distribution to guests and appropriate departments.
• Maintain Storage Areas: Keep storage spaces clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage Kitchen Inventory: Store and manage kitchen items, including fruits, vegetables, dry goods, and raw proteins, following proper safety protocols.
• Equipment Handling: Assist in moving small equipment around the property as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Basic mathematical skills for inventory management.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40lbs regularly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
• Knowledge of food ingredients and safety protocols related to food handling.
