Description: Prevailance is seeking an experienced Readiness Systems Software Developer with a strong background in secure system design, integration, and advanced technology problem-solving. This individual will provide expert-level software and systems development support to readiness programs by applying analytical and systematic methods to resolve complex technical and organizational challenges in support of mission-critical Navy and DoD operations.
Key Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To
Perform a variety of highly complex software development tasks focused on solving specialized technology and system readiness challenges
Lead and support the integration of electronic processes and methodologies to address end-to-end system and technology problems
Apply advanced problem-solving approaches to workflow, planning, and organizational optimization
Direct and collaborate with system engineers on the application of secure system engineering principles, particularly in classified and mission-critical environments
Architect and support secure, scalable software systems integrated with Navy readiness data pipelines and enterprise tools
Leverage expert knowledge in systems and network architecture including LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and network protocols
Implement and support security operations involving vulnerability analysis, PKI, data encryption, and key management
Design and support data warehousing and data mining tools to support performance analysis, predictive modeling, and reporting functions
Requirements
Qualifications:
More than 12 years of experience in software development and systems integration, with a focus on secure systems and technology problem-solving
Expert knowledge in:
LAN/WAN/VPN architecture and operations
Routers, firewalls, and network protocols
Security operations including vulnerability analysis, encryption, and key management
PKI infrastructure and implementation
Data warehousing and data mining capabilities
Demonstrated experience applying systems engineering principles to real-world secure system design problems
Proven success in applying structured methodologies to resolve issues in workflow, planning, and organizational alignment
Strong communication skills, with the ability to document complex systems and present technical solutions to a variety of stakeholders
U.S. Citizenship
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s or Doctorate in a related field is strongly preferred
Clearance
Active or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
