Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, relevant engineering (computer engineering, software engineering, electronic engineering, or related), or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in one of the aforementioned subjects. Qualifications/ Skills Required: ✓Participates in period planning and creating iteration plans as well as objectives ✓Develops and commits to team period objectives and goals ✓Conducts research, design, prototyping and other exploration activities to support dev/prep phase ✓Collaborates with the American Express Product Manager to create and refine user stories and acceptance criteria ✓Participates in design. Reviews design strategy with Consultant Technical Lead ✓Leverages paired programming to write code and automated acceptance test cases ✓Works with the American Express Product Manager to confirm that the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality, writing the code ✓Adheres to American Express standards regarding code quality and uses design and coding best practices to build high-quality components and services ✓Participates in code reviews ✓Follows defined branching strategies.
