Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced React Native Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in building high-quality mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms. This role requires proficiency in mobile app development best practices, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and project managers to deliver seamless, performant, and user-friendly mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.

Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow.

Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality releases.

Work with UI/UX designers to implement modern and responsive mobile user interfaces.

Optimise applications for maximum performance, responsiveness, and reliability.

Stay updated with the latest mobile development trends, tools, and best practices.

Assist in deployment processes for both Android (Google Play Store) and iOS (App Store).

Document development processes, architecture, and standards.

Work within Agile teams, actively participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mobile app development using React Native.

Strong knowledge of JavaScript and React.js fundamentals.

Experience in building and deploying apps for both Android and iOS platforms.

Familiarity with native mobile development (Java/Kotlin for Android and Swift/Objective-C for iOS) is a plus.

Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.

Knowledge of mobile app lifecycle, testing frameworks, and debugging tools.

Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for app deployment and backend integration is a bonus.

Skills:

React Native Development: Proficient in building mobile apps with React Native and React.js.

Cross-Platform Expertise: Ability to deliver apps that work seamlessly on both iOS and Android.

JavaScript/TypeScript: Strong command over JavaScript ES6+ and optionally TypeScript.

API Integration: Skilled in consuming RESTful APIs and handling data synchronization.

UI/UX Collaboration: Experience working with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional apps.

Performance Optimization: Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Version Control: Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.

Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and debugging skills.

Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban.
