Job Description

This position will be a member of the R&D Test department.

As a member of the team you will work in contact with R&D groups who develop products for Fixed Retail Scanners market sector.

Your main activity will be to design and implement automatic and semi-automatic tests to validate the products. Alongside the test automation development, manual test activities must be performed to understand how to develop test automation and at the same time to contribute to the product validation.

Key Responibilities

  • Understand the product requirements of the products
  • Cooperate with the project development groups to understand possible product weaknesses
  • Cooperate with test groups to help them to automate test activities
  • Correctly use the company tools to track defects and change requests
  • Design automatic test applications in both PC and embedded environment
  • Writing tests specifications and documentation

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Informatics
  • Languages: Italian; English fluent
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in an R&D department

Technical Competencies

Other Information and Specific Skills:

  • Good Knowledge of C/C++ and Object-Oriented Programming principles
  • Good Knowledge of scripting languages (Python)
  • Knowledge of web programming technologies
  • Knowledge of Windows/Linux environments (shell, bash, …)
  • Knowledge of automatic test principles
  • Knowledge of high-level Object-Oriented Programming languages like C# or Java
  • Basic Knowledge of distributed applications (Docker)
