Main tasks:

• Engage in collaborative and cutting-edge research in the fields of ICT and Security, work alongside with European organizations (industries, SMEs, universities, and research centers)
• Design, develop, and prototype full-stack applications (front-end and back-end), mainly as components of bigger integrated systems
• Collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers, DevOps engineers, and project/product managers, and technical teams from peer organizations in big international consortia
• Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to identify opportunities for innovation
• Contribute to system architecture and design discussions
• Develop technical documentation, including specifications, design documents, and test plans
• Contribute to scientific publications and dissemination activities

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development (including both front-end and back-end)
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React or Angular)
• Experience with back-end development in Python, Java, .net core, Node.js or similar
• Good understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
• Solid problem-solving skills and an experimental mindset
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, research-oriented environment
• Excellent knowledge of English (both written & spoken)

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• Experience in collaborative R&D projects (national/European)
• Contributions to related open-source telecom projects or published research in reputable journals or conferences
