About The Position

This position supports the engineering effort focused on Dairy Alternatives with an emphasis on Process Design and Implementation.

You Will

• Develop new or improve existing processes and initiate early research initiatives that advance process system designs, enhance end-product characteristics, and lead to cutting-edge process and factory controls.
• Create general processing specifications and support the definition of processing parameters in product specifications for new developments, as well as review current specifications.
• Select and define process equipment, including sizing and dimensioning of critical processing elements such as heat exchangers, shear devices, dosing systems, and separation/concentration units.
• Develop general Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) to support system design and planning.
• Consult on and troubleshoot existing equipment or processes, supporting corrective actions with your specialized process expertise to resolve design challenges.
• Lead and support the delivery of projects in partnership with the Product Design and Engineering teams.
  
  

So what does it take to be successful in this role?  

You have 3–5 years of experience in the dairy industry and hold at least a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent field. You bring proven expertise in commissioning, equipment selection, and dimensioning, along with a solid understanding of simulation tool development methods such as mechanistic and correlation models. You are experienced in cross-functional project management and have a demonstrated ability to lead and deliver projects punctually and comprehensively. Your experience includes collaborating across diverse cultures and global regions, managing stakeholders at various levels, and effectively navigating project risks and timelines. You maintain a helicopter view while confidently diving into technical details when needed. With strong skills in data process analysis from factory and pilot trials, including data mining of process output parameters, you are both analytical and detail oriented. A proactive team player with a solution-oriented mindset, you thrive in ambiguity, adapt swiftly to change, and provide clear direction. You are a self-starter who works independently, conducting precise and creative analyses and performance tests. You take ownership of your responsibilities, are quality-driven, flexible, and fluent in English, with the willingness to travel to factories, third-party manufacturers (3PM), and supplier facilities.
