R&D Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled R&D Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new products and improving existing ones through thorough research, prototyping, and testing. This role is critical in ensuring that our products meet high standards of quality and performance while driving the technological advancement of our offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify new technologies and methodologies for product development.
  • Design and prototype new products based on market needs and company objectives.
  • Perform rigorous testing and analysis to ensure product quality and functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine product designs and address any issues.
    • Working alongside Technical Service, Sales, and Customers to validate product performance.
    • Collaborating with Process and Quality team to manage product scale-up and high-quality product assurance.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to product specifications and testing procedures.
  • Design and perform experimental test for project roadmap, ensuring compliance with scientific methods and procedures
  • Implement quality assurance processes to enhance product reliability and safety.
  • Manage projects through the stage-gate process, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Support manufacturing teams in the transition from prototype to production.
  • Utilize ERP systems for tracking project progress and resource management.
  • Preparing and maintaining product documentation, instruction manuals, project notebooks, and design and test documentation.
  • Lead key initiatives to drive organizational improvement.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product design and development in an R&D/Lean Manufacturing environment.
  • Strong skills in prototyping and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Stage Gate Process, Six Sigma tools such as FMEA, process diagram, root cause analysis.
  • Experience with data analysis and quality assurance practices.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and tools.
  • Proficient in utilizing R&D test instruments, including FTIR, Tensile Tester, liner release testing, and new test method development.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing processes, ERP systems(Microsoft Office), and statistical software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
