Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for an R&D Engineer for System Drives experienced with embedded software development and power electronic background to help us maintaining #1 position as global drives player. As a member of the Research and Development (R&D) for System Drives team based in Krakow, you will be responsible for developing the MEGADRIVE LCI product software. Development of embedded software for medium voltage drives
Conduct multiple layer testing including hardware-in-the-loop simulations
Analysis of technical documentation and electrical schemes for drive systems and testing infrastructure
Conduct product troubleshooting in the lab and in the field
Effectively work with cross-functional teams including physics, control algorithms design, software and system engineering
Lead relevant design and development tasks; provide technical leadership; coordinate with other people
Occasional international travel to our R&D center, production sites and customers
Qualifications For The Role
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation and Robotics
At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably with MVD
Hands-on experience with embedded software development
Experience with C++ and GIT
Understanding of converter control theory or power electronics
Good written and spoken English
Knowledge of continuous integration systems (Jenkins) is an advantage
Additional advantage would be proficiency with Matlab and Simulink
Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working in an Agile team environment, with strong problem-analysis and solving skills
Strong desire to learn and share knowledge
