Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop optical and electronic components for our proprietary TEEM and FLASH platforms
• Lead the integration of microfluidics, electro-optics, and electrode systems in biomedical devices
• Optimize solution-electrode interfaces and electrode surface functionalization techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance project goals
• Contribute to the development of intellectual property and patent applications

Required Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or M.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in biomedical device development, with a focus on optical and electronic systems
• Strong background in optics, electronics, and instrumentation for biomedical applications
• Hands-on experience with microfluidics and electro-optical systems
• Proficiency in designing and optimizing solution-electrode interfaces
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with regulatory processes (FDA, CE marking) for medical devices
• Knowledge of electrode surface functionalization techniques
• Familiarity with genomics or molecular diagnostics technologies
• Experience with lab-on-a-chip devices or point-of-care diagnostic systems
• Track record of successful product development from concept to commercialization
• Experience in project management and team leadership
