We now have a great opportunity for a Ramp Operations Manager to join our Ground Operations Team at Birmingham Airport.
What will you do as a Ramp Operations Manager?
Manage the Ramp Duty Management team and lead the wider Dispatch, Ramp & Baggage Teams at the airport
Be accountable for the achievement of the On Time Performance of our flights
Run the airside operation in accordance with legal and Company requirements
Work closely with our service providers, airport, and head office colleagues to ensure high standards of service delivery and cost management
Support and develop your Duty Management teams, including all aspects of people management and development
Play a pivotal role as an ambassador of our safety-first culture, making sure your Team drive the culture through every aspect of their work
Work closely with our Station Manager and Front of House Management team to deliver an efficient and friendly service that meets the needs of our customers and promotes our brand values.
This is a varied and fulfilling role with significant people and operational responsibility and will play a vital part in ensuring we achieve our On Time Performance, Safety and Customer Satisfaction targets as we are always on hand to help our customers. This role is available on a 40 hour per week basis. Working hours are Monday – Friday with flexibility to support the operation as required.

What Skills & Experience will you need?
You Will
Have a proven track record of managing large, multifunctional teams, ideally including Duty Manager level, in a fast-paced Airside environment
Will have the ability to show flexibility and forward thinking in challenging operational situations
Be an inspirational leader, who is committed to the development of others and who shares our passion for delivering the highest standards in customer service and safety
Strong operational experience within an airport environment is essential for this role
Have excellent communication skills with exposure to managing and /building relationships with service providers and senior stakeholders
